Belt Advancements

This past Saturday, October 17^th, two members of the Tiny Tigers’ class were promoted, Kaitlyn Y. and L.J. B!

Kaitlyn Y. earned the Best Student Medal along with her Yellow Belt.  She has been constantly training all Summer long and we want to recognize Kaitlyn’s dedication and continuous efforts.

L.J. B. earned the Merit Badge of 100% Effort, to be worn on her KMAC Hoody, and now holds the rank of a Green-White Belt.

KMAC congratulates the two of you on your hard-earned achievements!

Something New for Our Outdoor Park

Due to the Pandemic we had to think outside the box.  We had to incorporate Social Distancing yet still maintain a high-quality curriculum that we would be proud teach at KMAC for our Saturday Outdoor Training Sessions.

We were able to include Weapons Training, which is usually taught at the Black Belt level, to further add to our Students growing repertoire of Martial Arts Skills and judging by the attendance it is a very popular class!

To make sure our Saturday Session practice can continue in the ever-changing Bay Area climate, we have started to install Canopies!  We plan to have a few more Canopies in short order!

KMAC Equipment Report

During our reopening we have invested in an Exhaust Fan to help increase Air Circulation in the Dojan, which was installed by one of our Senior Black Belts, Azar A.   We want to thank Azar A. for his industrial skills, effort, and time!

We also want to thank Master Atef Karajah who generously replaced our Fogger which was failing.  Master Karajah also helped prepare the Backyard as well as supply us with paper products for cleaning.

We also want to thank the Parents for your ongoing support to keep the Martial Arts alive and KMAC Operating!

10/24/20, Saturday KMAC Outdoor Training Information

Our Saturday October 24^th Session will be at KMAC’s Outdoor Training Lot.

There is a $20 dollar fee for Non-Full Time Members/Saturday Drop-Ins to help keep KMAC operational!

Currently Saturday Classes are offered at the following times:

Class space is limited and if you haven’t already made arrangements yet to join a class, please contact Grand Master Jung.

When entering the KMAC Outdoor Training Lot, you will be guided to the Side Gate to the rear of KMAC’s building to gain access to the Outdoor Training Facility.

There will be mandatory Logged Temperature Checks, COVID-19 Questionnaire and all participants must wear a Mask and maintain Social Distancing at all times during Training Session! 

Also, please use your own discretion if you don’t feel safe.  There will be other training session should you miss this one!
